Hi Everyone,
On the upper right corner of the message board - near the welcome, logon and search links - you'll see the word "chat." Click it and, Voila!, you will enter the dearjanis live chat room and can chat with others who are on with you.
Please note, that I'm not able to check everything that is said during these conversations, so take care and do not automatically use any medical info that someone shares with you - it may not be the right thing for you.

Yes Janis, I have been knowing about the chat room for quite some time. Sharon and I chatted a few weeks ago. I think that setting up a scheduled chat with one or more friends well ahead of time is the best way to get to chat with each other. You also have to take the time zones into consideration.
OK, lets try this. I am in the EST time zone but we are on daylight savings time. I am making this post at 2:40 PM my time. I will check into the chat room at 8 PM my time, today. I think that should be 6 PM, CST : 5 PM, MST: and 4 PM, PST, unless some of you are also on daylight savings time like me. I am confused! I will be there even if I am alone.

OK, Richard, that is 5 AZ time. We do not have DLST in AZ. so you are 3 hrs. ahead of us. I think there are only 2-3 states that DO NOT have DLST. And we are one of them. I will try to be on then.

Hi Janis, I can't seem to get on the chat room. It says the chat room is full and disconnects me.
P.S. There is 3 people in there now.

Harold I kept trying every 5 minutes and got back in. Maybe Janis has some suggestions that will help.

Richard, I just got disconnected too. Now I get a message that says the chat room is full and I think there was only 3 of us. Don't know what is going on. Maybe it has a few bugs in it.

We're sorry we missed you in the chat room. I tried to get back in the second time and it was a "no go". I'm sure Janis will ask the webmaster to see what went awry last night.
