Reply with quote | #827 | Well, gang, I haven't walked at all this week - BUT last night was our Trunk/Treat and this morning our Evangelism committee (Larry heads this) put on a free pancake breakfast as part of our continued Outreach as was last night's T/T. With all the walking I did I went low twice last night, once that the T/T and then when I got home. Then I had my breakfast at home this morning and then had 1 pancake with a little syrup about 10 - got home for lunch - tested at 96. Lots of walking and just being active. Now both, Larry and my, bodies ache so much. And this afternoon we are going to a special service at our high school that our churches support. But at least there we will just be sitting most of the time. Wow, what a weekend! Then 2 weeks from today our church has it's 50th annivresary. Larry is on that committee too. But I don't think I have to do anything - PHEW! Sharon __________________ Sharon from Arizona |

Reply with quote | #828 | Went out to ALA for a special service for all our WELS churches in the valley. Got out there, one of the pastors needed our help so did that, then I said I don't feel good. Found food outside (soup supper after service) so tested - 57 and had a dinner roll, which was all they had that was sweet - no cookies/bars. I forgot to put something in my purse. Seemed to take a little longer to work, but then I was fine. I reallly got a lot of "movement" in this weekend. Now it is all over - PHEW! and we can relax. Well, Larry has 3 mtgs. this week. the the big part is over. Sharon __________________ Sharon from Arizona |

Reply with quote | #829 | I haven't been "walking" around our block, but yesterday we had a special service of celebration for our church's 50th anniversary and I was feeling a little strange (and, no, I haven't replenished glucose tabs/food in my purse yet) so I went into the kitchen to see if they had any cookies - yep in the freezer, so I took one, wrapped it in a napkin for later. Well, by the time I got into the church, was going to walk in and sit my my mil when I said I really don't feel good - tested at 62 and promptly ate my cookie. Then I sat for 15 min. and felt better so went in. I was fine then until after when we had a roast pork dinner. By the way - the service was very nice. Sharon __________________ Sharon from Arizona |
