Hi All, haven't been to any rehab for some time now.  I am being tested for peripheral neuropathy.  Then I also have constant pain in my neck and spreading to my left shoulder.  Sometimes it gets really bad - sharp.  Larry and I are going away for a couple days, up to the cooler country in the mountains and a place called Woods Canyon Lake.  We are staying in a cabin in a place called Christopher Creek and cook up at the lake.  We'll leave tomorrow, stay 2 nights, and come back Thursday morning.  Just to get out of our heat a little.  When we get back home I think I will call my orthopedic dr. for an appointment.  At least he can evaluate me and send me where I need to go.  Larry even mentioned to me that he is even worried about cancer.  I never thought of that, I just know I am in pain.

Sharon,
I'm so sorry that you are in pain.  I hope your trip gives you a chance to rest and relax.

Thanks Janis, we did relax.  We took Maggie and I walked with her for a very short time a couple times.  Larry walked her the rest of the time.  She really got exhausted.  But we did relax and enjoyed ourselves - even through my pain.  Took Ibuprophen a few times while up there.
