Well, went to cardio rehab today and talked to Mindy again.  I also pushed myself on a couple machines and the free weights, so I think next Wed. they will increase some things for me - like more time or higher weights.  Feeling good tonight.

Sharon, I'm not a health professional, but try to make sure you get enough sleep the night before you go to Cardio.  Oh, and eat some breakfast so you will have strength to do the stuff they might want you to do.

I go in the afternoon, and I do eat breakfast AND lunch - don't go until 1:45 on M-W-F and stay after on W for a cardio class.  Thanks for your concern Kathy.  Much appreciated.  It's a good reminder.

Well, gang, I just quit my cardio rehab.  My left knee has been going out on me.  Went to my orthopedic dr. and he gave me a cortisone shot.  It helps for the most part, but all of a sudden it will act up again, like this morning.  So I called that I wouldn't be in today.  Then I left a message that someone (one of the gals that works with me) should call me.  She did and I told her I think I should stop.  After talking for a few min. she said it is probably a good idea, but I can still come in for the education classes on Wed. @3pm.  Which means I should probably go in in about an hour.  Anyway, thought I would let you know.  I might go back to Rehab of AZ after I see my endo on 6/25, after she fills out and signs a release for me to return to Rehab of AZ.  If not, so be it.  I can go to the community pool here.  And in the Fall I can go to the mall and walk.

Hi Sharon,
Thanks for the update.  Just keep moving.  Remember, if you don't use it, you lose it!

Thanks Janis.  You are right as usual.  I used to tell my mom that - now I have to tell that to myself. -lol

Well, I saw my endo yesterday.  Asked about going back to Rehab of AZ.  He said he would need a release from my cardio, then fill out the form for Rehab and sign that before I can get back.  It has been about 6 months since I've been to Rehab.  That doesn't count cardio rehab.  So sometime next month I should get back to Rehab/AZ.  Sharon

Thanks Janis.  Larry and I are going to the pool again tonight - later, about 6:30, when the sun is going down.

Swimming is great!  Wonderful exercise, plus a great relief from the heat!

Yes, it certainly is a relief from 110* heat.  I do go into a heated salt water pool, but I do feel cool when I get out.
