Well, gang, all has been going well these last 3 days - busy busy, busy, but very nice and fun.  One of the things we did last night, after the funeral, etc., was that Larry's mom and dad had many old slides they had taken.  They also had a slide projector.  Renee took them home and got it to working and we watched those slides last night after supper - THAT was really fun - seeing everyone a lot younger and all the weight everyone has put on since.  And the grandchildren/greatgrands got a really kick out of seeing grandpa/grandma so much younger along with their own parents.  Of course, the great grands never met great grandpa.  But it was really fun, especially in this crazy family.

ps - we aren't done yet - dinner tonight again and tomorrow Larry and I will go back to mom's and pack up everything we bought her and get it back.  I just might get more things to bring home and then decide what I want to do with it all - maybe our church Thrift Store. Mom had sooooo much stuff - she collected thimbles, miniatures, dolls, worked puzzles that hang on her walls and lots of other things too numerous to mention.

Sharon, the slide show was a good way to share all your happy memories.  Going through the "stuff" will be tough but try to find those "happy memories" as you pack or donate items.  (Not to sound to materialistic, but as you "donate" keep a running list of items for tax records.  Easier to do NOW, rather than later.  If you use Turbo Tax there is a program called "It's Deductible" that assigns "fair market value" accepted by the IRS.  Easy to use and legal to claim.  We did that when we cleaned Luke's mother's place.)

I'm not often on the CHAT thread but thought I'd let you know I have started a new blog to track our RV Travels.  The first couple of posts will provide some background on us and then, starting next week, we head out for another 5+ month RV trip.  First destination will be a 2.5 month loop through Alaska by motorhome.  Check out the blog at: http://coolrvers.blogspot.com/

Man, did my "diet" go to pot this week.  We ate out every meal except breakfast (I'm surprised we didn't eat breakfast out, too - lol)  Anyway, so much food I really shouldn't have to at least watch portions.  We did go to a Mexican restaurant and had what turned out to be a large salad in a large tortilla bowl.  But eating at Pat's and Renee's was German potato salad, beans, etc. and sub sandwiches, more potato salad/beans and cake.  When we ate at Coco's I had cod w/veggies and a salad.  Last night supper at home and all day today we ate at home.  Boy, talk about carbs and sodium.  We did have a good time with the family, though, some of whom we don't see often, like from VA, TX, and CA.  Took lots of pics on Tues.

Latest on my step father, he went back into the hsp last week and is home now. He told my sister that he is doing much better and is AC1 was almost normal at 9.1 . I will not get sucked back into that messy, I will not get sucked back into that mess.

OK tai chi day was 4/30/11. Here is a couple of photos. I am the one with the light brown shirt. &*(^ I need to loss some weight again. The first is the group photo. We ended up with 78 this year. There was 42 in 2010.

#1. So they ask the instructor drop down because the first role was so sort. We grabbed a student to balance out the shot. Rusty is in the left and is one of my teachers. Ed is next and he is my big brother , think about it..... The guy on the right side is a student.  We ended up in the stances for several minutes. One can not tell it but, my right knee is about an inch off of the ground and outside on my left ankle. Ed did not like that stance and he is balancing with one hand....

#3. This is a shot of my Tai Chi for Seniors program and the college. They are almost as old as I am.... I know it looks like confusion but the people in the background or doing different types of tai chi at the same time.

#2. This is an old bald cave man leading the group of 78 people in a mass practice. About 1/3 of the group were my students. My hair is from a raccoon...yum yum.

#4. This is some of my none senior students. They are only in there mid sixties.
