OOOO NNNNOOO IT IS THE SECOND BLIZARD OF 2011. It is in the low 30s. I better go to the cave and wrap the pipe. The buildling may not open at work. It is a good thing the the path to the cave is covered with salt from last week. Lets see, I have plenty of food, where did I put the tire chains. I have to wrap the pipes. I hope I can get everything done before suN set at 6:20 PM..... DAN

What is this business of Second Blizzard of 2011? Thank You very much but we don't need or want any more snow. The drifts on either side of our driveway are already 5-1/2 ft tall. It is getting most difficult to shovel snow when you have to throw it.

I don't think 100+ temperatures are particularly funny and you won't find me laughing at you.

We could have moved south after I retired in 1997. Our kids and grandkids live in hot Atlanta. We decided to stay in cool New york, in the Catskills. This part of NY is much milder than the northern part of the state. This year we have had more snow than usual, buy there are days in the 40s so the snow melts soon. My wife suffers greatly in very hot weather. Cooler is healthier for us.

Richard, I have some friends, who, years ago, moved to the valley for his health. Well, he, too, could not take the heat of he summer and they moved to the mountains, bought a motel and did very well up there until he died when a drunk driver plowed into their bedrom. Like I said before, I admit I do not like the swealterng summers we have here - everyone has to do as they see fit. Sharon
